Books for Fall 2016

Of all my material possessions, the things I'm most proud of are my books. The very first thing we bought when we got this apartment were bookshelves - even before a bed or dresser. I have a deep, enduring, and life-long love of reading and books. Anybody close to me knows that it's dangerous to take me to a bookstore because I will browse for hours and probably won't even acknowledge your existence while I do it.

With October right around the corner, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite books I find myself drawn to around Fall, as well as some that I hope to be crossing off my list in the next month or two.

Although it's not quite sweater weather in Utah (but the Weather Channel says it soon will be!), it's never too soon to start stocking up on some good reads.

Old Favorites

I Capture The Castle | Dodie Smith

Jane Eyre | Charlotte Bronte

The Night Circus | Erin Morgenstern

Great Expectations | Charles Dickens

New Adventures for 2016

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell | Susanna Clarke

The Last Painting of Sara de Vos | Dominic Smith

Evelina | Frances Burney

Today Will Be Different | Maria Semple

Sorry for such a short little post - life has been absolutely crazy for the last few weeks. Things aren't necessarily looking up, but hopefully I'll be able to get on top of things enough that I can have some time to write for myself!

Will most likely be found traveling, reading, writing, or somehow doing all three. Passionate about books, culture and art.
